DIY Guides: Mangoose Pro MFC 1:1 clone of the original (Pinout)

Here are some tips and guides Autokent shared to make a very high-quality copy of the original 1:1 Mangoose Pro MFC.
The adapter works with the original drivers from the official website of the manufacturer DrewTech.
It also has the original serial number and is no different from the original except for the price.
The entire board is made exactly with the original on the same processor.
FYI, rework PCB at your own risk
The adapter has already been able to test many diagnosticians from Europe, America, Iran and many other countries – the feedback on the adapter was only positive.

You can also update the software in the engine control units and others through the Techstream program, if there are firmware files.
The adapter can work with any programs that support the work according to the J2534 standard.

Handy Baby 2 Manual: Download, Install, Activate

JMD handy baby ii user manual for newbies: (3 steps)
Step 1: Handy Baby 2 software download & install
Go to the JMD official website to Download Client
Install JMD Client
Open JMD Client
Step 2: Handy Baby 2 account register
Continue to register a JMD account
Fill in the registration information
Step 3: Handy Baby 2 activate
Log in after successful registration
Connect Handy Baby II to the computer
Select Activation
Choose whether to own Handy Baby 1 or not
If you have Handy Baby 1
Connect HB1 to the computer
Connect HB2 after validation, and activate successfully
If you don’t Handy Baby 1
Click Next
HB2 is activated successfully!
Now, you can use Handy Baby 2 for key programming!

Kess V2 Firmware 6.008 vs Firmware 5.028 vs Firmware 5.017

Kess v2 5.017 has 594 protocols in SD-Card (594 in format .prt)
Kess v2 5.028 has 637 protocols in SD-Card (637 in format .prt)

Here’s some info about Kess v2 firmware 6.008.

Works only without Internet Connection

With internet connection

All bootloader st10fxxx are ok and all bootloader tricore are Grey.

The half of obd protocols are Grey

This is for your information.
Kess 6.008 is the latest though. It has not been tested by real professionals.
And a lot of protocols cannot work at all.
To use with security and relief, Kess v2 5.017 is your way to go.

Skoda Octavia 2015 MQB mileage correction: VVDI2 done!

Tested successfully! VVDI2 Xhorse is able to do odometer correction for Skoda Octavia 2015.
Vvdi2 sw version: VVDI2 VAG 5.5.0

The old mileage read from the dashboard: 66612km

Gonna read km with VVDI2


The mileage is the same as what is displayed in the dashboard


Change km: 66000km


Km recalibration is only used for repair and maintenance!
The user should take all risks if you use for the illegal purpose

Confirmed to save eepriom data before km write

Switch on with the working key before press OK
If the car has keyless go, put the working key nearby the car coil and switch on

choose login method. Here login method 2

Writing data success
Pls use “Reset instrument” to activate the instrument after all the operation is done

Reset success

Go to Special function: ABS brake
Read and clear data

The current km on the dash: 66000km (same as what is written just now)

Done!
You have to know: optional solutions of MQB mileage change
Xhorse is much more expensive than Obdstar tools but Xhose supports MQB immo and dash while Obdstar supports dash only.
Note that Xhorse VVDI2 is the only key programmer can be used for VAG MQB platform instrument immobiliser. Instrument with NEC35XX (Continental/VDO)
VVDI2 works perfect in BMW and VAG key programming.
Have it if BMW key programming is required.
If not, go for Obdstar tools - cheaper but working good, support more MQB types
If you need a tool for VAG immo and dashboard, go for Obdstar H110;
If you need a universal odometer correction tool, go for Obdstar X300M;
If you works for a workshop, go for Obdstar key master and you’ll never look back.
Ps. Obdstar X300M and H110, at the same price, depends on your need.
